I am trying to see what I can do about defrosting quiickly my FF. So, I have removed the 4 screws, including the water bottle screws and the bottom part of the panel should come out. However, it is stuck at about midpoint on the left side. It just does not come out. This is right next to a square hole on the panel on the Left hand side.
Any help would be appreciated in opening this unit.
I know the alternative is to let it defrost over 24 hours, but I like to try and open the bottom panel for 2 reasons., 1) Quick de-frost 2) any future repair will probably need the possibility of opening it.
It is quite old, as you can imagine. Hence, not under warranty.
