Just thinking, in light of these fires from Beko that we might be able to go back in time a bit.
What if we were to promote offering an “appliance safety check” from the guys? Sort of like an annual or bi-annual check of the appliances in the home.
I like the idea ,would need some serious looking at though,as we know from the forums one mans definition of a safety check is another mans all consuming passion in life…
Also what if you were to find a Beko F/F or Samsung F/F that was unmodified do you switch it off until they have the mod done ? if you leave it on and it subsequently catches fire where do you stand ? Or an appliance in a patently dangerous situation.
