KeymasterRe: Our Adrian
From what I can gather he is on the brink of bankruptcy and has been skating close to the wind for some time now.
I think and, it is only, I think, that all this is him lashing out as he can’t get ahead and needs someone to blame for the mess he’s seemingly gotten himself into.
And, in looking for a way out of the mess he happened across the idea to launch FME in order to generate funds. When both I and the WTA more or less declined, very politely I will add, to support that venture this all started.
As to his foray with Lux, I still don’t believe what he was telling me and I told him so.

His foray with Lux was fun.
He was promised a service bonus for helping out. They called it a reward for services rendered. When it came to the pay-out they refused telling him there was no service and he simply failed to provide.
Mainly because he poured his heart out in public, and that was why I posted in here regards SF Wales.
What he told you guys & Del in Sibson was total boll*** If after all things were remotely as he claimed, I wouldn’t still be here.
He was out of his depth, and blamed everyone but himself. I blame myself as I pointed Lux in his direction in the beginning.
Quite simply he blew it!

Oh FFS!
So, he tries Andy Trigg and… well, anyone that gives a damn really.
Actually the spam email details will come out on the forums and won’t that be a laugh. I might just do that for a giggle.
Now I know why Andy and I got the “out the blue” apologetic email from Luke there for copying the content from both his site and UKW.

Ooops.
I sorta did.
F**k it, he’s really getting right on my chest now and I’m not frightened of taking the village idiot to task.
So, we have a guy that steals others content… and a guy that steals a mailing list… and they expect respect from the trade whilst accusing others (falsely) of being dishonest…
Ehm, is it just me?

Just a thought.
What was the name of Adrian’s IT Guru he brought along to the UKW Conference at Coventry? Skinny guy in jeans, had gingerish hair
I’ve tried to look up the results of the meeting and a list of attendees.
I’m wondering if the connection with talkappliance may be closer than we think.

Na, I can’t recall the guy’s name in all honesty but the registrant is Luke Billyard who is, I presume, the Luke that Andy Trigg and I have spoken with via email.
Details are:

As a Nominet registered domain he has to abide by:
Nominet wrote:Consumer Opt Out
The WHOIS is available to everyone and shows the name of the registrant and their address details, as held on our register. However it is possible for some people to opt out from having their address shown in the WHOIS.
Can anyone opt out?
Only domain name holders that are non-trading individuals can opt out of having their address details published on the WHOIS. In other words, if you do not use or plan to use your domain name for business, trade (this includes the registration of domain names for monetisation purposes, e.g. pay per click advertising etc) or professional transactions, you will be entitled to opt out of having your address displayed.
In other words, his site is pretty much illegal under the Nominet rules and is subject to a take-down order if he does not comply and sort his registration.
The fact that our village idiot hasn’t bothered his arse to check this or, care, as he tries to screw up UKW or me, as he is doing only to have the rug swiped from under him is his problem.
Fact is however, he’s now affecting other people that haven’t a clue about his motivation. Like Andy Trigg and this Luke character and, I’d be willing to wager that his SEO guy that was at the meeting and his “partner” Jamie have no clue what he’s doing.

Interestingly I did a Who Is search on FME this morning and, guess what?
That’s right, he’s failed to register that URL as a business and opted out of the showing any address details as well.
Either the blind are leading the blind or, birds of a feather…

.co.uk
Opted out of WhoIs.
.com is registered to a company that no longer exists, at an address that as far as I know is empty.
