Our Schreiber APM6855 isn’t working – no reply from repairs@

Dear all,

We have a built-in Schreiber integrated Fridge/Freezer – model APM6855 – and the refrigerator has apparently stopped refrigerating.

The temperature gauge at the top of the device is showing “H” on the Fridge side, but the Freezer is still working. I’ve done a few searches on this website and, from the look of things, there’s no DIY solution and I need to contact an engineer to come and look at it.

I’ve tried the repairs@ section of the website twice, but no-one from either of the suggested repairers has replied to my request. As requested, I emailed admin@ukwhitegoods.co.uk to let them know that no-one replied, but still, no reply.

Does this website still work? Are the companies listed on it up to date?

If not, can anyone help me with my query, or do I need to try my luck and “throw a six” to find a decent engineer who can repair my fridge/freezer?

That or buy a new one, I suppose!

Hi.I would imagine your kitchen was supplied by mfi so if you contact your mfi or there web site and log onto the Extracare department they will give you the number to your local service partner they use for there for there repairs.

Hi can you PM me the details of the repairers that haven’t responded please and I can look into it for you?

I cannot see any email to admin, but I will look into it more tomorrow when I’m back at my desk.

No offence Longy, but I have no desire to have any dealings with mfi or their service department subsidiaries – from my experience, I have found the entire company to be totally useless.

Because I have a backup fridge, I’ll hold out for the details of an independent repairer in the meantime.

The first message was sent on Thursday, May 8th at 10:06am. When I didn’t get a response from admin the first time, I didn’t bother trying the second time when the second repairer failed to respond.
