ParticipantHas anyone any recommendations for a good oven cleaner? Tried Mr Muscle, pretty poor and steam cleaners don’t get through the grime so any thoughts on the subject are welcome.

dont know how pc this method is or if it breaks health and safety,
we used to recon cookers..and used this method , i made the cookers spotless…
1st mix a bucket of wall paper paste,
2nd add 2 small bottles of caustic soda.. cation wear gloves eye protectors etc… use big stick to mix ..
3rd apply sticky mix on to cooker…wall paper paste helps caustic stick to panels etc..
4th leave over night.
5th blast clean with power washer..
job done..we used to do 5-10 at a time and this was the only method that worked..

Of the various cleaners I have tried over the years there is one called Oven Pride.
Comes with a bag to soak racks in and it very nearly works 🙂 -
