    Morning all!

    Have a Baumatic (I think) 180.

Had a power outage and since then oven has not worked. Clock at top works fine though. The cooker is hard wired into a cooker socket (red switch type) with a 13 amp socket as part of it – this socket works fine.

Is there a fuse in the socket, or could it be a fuse in the oven? Have read elsewhere that the element may have blown, but when that went a few years ago, I am pretty sure the fans were still working (just blowing out cold), but now the fans are not working either.

    Any ideas?

If the oven timer is working then it’s almost certainly on automatic, which wil kill the power to the oven.

    Generic instructions are here: http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix- … -dead.html

    K,

😀 😀 😀 THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! That did it. Never used that feature before :rolls: .

So much appreciated, thought I was in for a bill for at least an element replacement.

    Thanks again.
