The outer glass panel on the door catches on the oven body when opening the door. This only happens on the left-hand side and appears to be caused by a faulty hinge. Is it possible to buy replacement hinges and how easy is it to fit them?

Top oven hinges are p/no BA6100995.
Main oven hinges are p/no BA6100996.

Worth checking for fit if the hinges before ordering – there is a link at the top of this forum which is worth checking out first.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you wish to order.

It sounds like the hinges and possibly the hinge supports also, both doors take the same hinge:

It’s actaully manufactured by Creda so I’ll quote those prices as they are less than half the Belling price 😉

Door hinge part number 6100995 £9.95 each
Door hinge supports part number 6100996 £3.95 each

All inc VAT, please add £3.95 postage.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please if required 🙂

Pretty straightforward to be honest, refer to the user manual on how to remove the oven door for cleaning, if you don’t have that, see the “sticky” at the top of this forum on removing oven doors.

Thanks for super fast response! Just a bit confused though. You mention hinges and hinge supports but what I’ve got in my hand (having successfully removed the main oven door) is just a single, integrated contraption, marked Nuova Star B, which has a spring connected to a support arm and a hinge at the bottom. Is this a hinge or a hinge support?

The hinge by the sound of it.

The hinge supports are on the oven itself (the part the hinge locates when fitting the door back on).

Well I’m ready to place my order but I’m still confused. Dave_Conway quoted parted number 6100996 as being a door hinge support whereas penguin45 quotes that number as being a door hinge for the main oven. I do require a door hinge for the main oven. Can you confirm the part number. Also are these things best replaced as a pair even though only one is defective?

    Ooops 😳

    Sorry about that.

Main oven door hinges are 6100996, my mistake.

I don’t think you need the hinge supports, and yes, a pair is normally the best bet as one damaged one can lead to weakness of the other.

    Dave.
