Oven grill trips rcd when switching off?!

So due to look at a hot point freestanding oven which only trips when the grill is on but when they switch it off that’s when the rcd goes, any ideas as I have never come across this before??

will most likely still be an earth fault prob on the neutral side but when its switched off the switch cuts the neutral first making it live and blowing the trip
