    Hi,

Long shot here but I’m trying to find some replacement inner glass for my oven.

The oven is a New World DF90 – Model 059056615.
I’ve tried everywhere but nowhere seems to stock the correct glass for this. I can’t even get the exact dimensions required as no-one seems to have the information available.

I’ve measured the slot myself and it looks to be a standard 395mm tall, but as it’s a wide cooker it’s something like 710mm wide.

I haven’t found any inner oven glass that is anywhere near this wide, can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Hi

It appears the glass is obsolete however what you could do is take the door to a good local glazing company who will be able to size it for you and then cut to size. Make sure it is temperature safe glass to 300 degrees C.

    HTH 🙂

I think there’s a company that makes them Don but, they ain’t cheap!

The glasses are moulded as they need to be tempered glass heat resistant to above 300?C so, not an easy thing to do at all on a one-off basis.

Danger being that, if it’s wrong and it blows and isn’t that whole safety way where it goes to tiny pieces it could be dangerous, very.

Most any local glazier will not be able to make them as it’s quite specialised a thing.
