oven insulation material

Does anyone know where to buy this stuff from? especially something that is easier on the lungs, working on older ovens especially that have had previous repairs iv noticed bits are either missing or degraded, iv noticed on some modern ovens the insulation material looks far less fibrous(if thats the right term) in other words its safer to move out of the way a little and back over without it getting airborne , i get a good mask on straightaway with the older stuff, gloves etc but my last job i would have preferred to bin what was left and update it with something easier to work with….. iv looked on qualtex, maddocks and awso and its all special order

all insulation panels will be special order for a particular model

you could do a google search for aluminium backed fibreglass and see whats available

if your in a workshop you could also run a vacuum near where your working to stop some of the floating fibres
