While boiling water with the hob, some water spilled over the hob’s edge and into the oven from the top of the control panel. The oven initially refused to work (clicking noises at startup) but has now mainly recovered except for the digital clock display which seems dead. Any idea what would be involved in replacing this? Something I should try first or worth calling in service? Is it the part just a clock or is it a more expensive timer block?

I have an Ariston TC720, the dual built-in oven with the clock on the left side.

    Thanks,
    Jacksie

    Hi

It might be best to call an engineer as a new clock is listed as £133.00 .
