ParticipantI am having trouble replacing my electric oven that has finally gone and needs replacing, I think I am right in saying its a built in oven as it fits under my worktop where the gas hob is and between my kitchen units slightly off the ground. I’m looking to purchase at John Lewis as I have vouchers but as its just a maisonette I live and will be moving soon I do not want to spend too much. the specifications to the oven needed replacing is:
Howdens/Lamona Electric signle fan oven HJA 3300
outer width – 560mmouter depth – 561mm
outer height – 594mm
Dimensions of installation settings
Width 560mmDepth 540mm
Height 585mm
Out of both measurements from the manual am not sure which one I should be looking at when shopping for a replacement. Also are all standard electric single fan ovens the same size? cant find an oven the exact size as this or does this matter? would it still fit in to where I need it?
Can anyone recommend a replacement in the £150-£200 mark from John Lewis or answer any other questions I will be forever grateful.

Normally it’s usually only the depth that will vary and the shape along the top to accommodate services such as a gas pipe.
Other than that, they’re all pretty much the same.

Hi Shane
All single ovens are standard to a couple of mm so any of the ones JLP are listing will fit. There is a 50 : 50 chance the gas pipe which supplies the hob may need to be reconfigured to accommodate the shape of the new cabinet. That aside it’s all good.

Are the ovens easy to remove/install? my broken oven if I take the wooden slat off at the bottom it uncovers two screws, do I unscrew them and it just comes forward? W were worried because of the difference in MM it may not fit but its 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} that even if its out by a little bit it will fit fine?

Hi
Drop down the oven door there should be a screw on either side of the oven front, remove these and slide oven out. What the other two are I don’t know.
