    Has anyone got an alternative part no. for this please ❓
    A extortionate price is being asked for the genuine 😡

    Dave A bit of a problem here, the stat is still in the cooker 30 miles away! I never took it out and looked at it just wrote down the 47…. no. of it. Have fitted these before, never expected such a price hike!

    The cooker is a Creda 49721, I shall try and find the circuit diag. it should give an idea of the contacts, shaft size will be fairly standard and I think its fixing will be a single nut 🙂

    OK, assuming it has a UK shaft size (Matron 😯 ) and a single nut 😆 fixing and a standard 3 tag connection for temp control. It will only need, being a main oven stat a maximum of two o/c switches on the front switch block, my guess goes with Masterpart’s BL14102

    And you can blame Gegsy for the carry on inuendo, he just embedded it in to my mind with a PM about the lady in the public forums wanting a new knob :rotl:
