ParticipantHi, every time is set the timer, when the time runs out the alarm does not sound and the clock is knocked out and needs resetting. Bosch model HBB-AP63-7. Something else to note is that the thermostat light above the temp dial for the top oven no longer works either. Didn’t no if fault is connected or not?. I do have electrical knowledge so all advise welcome

You missed out the 2 digit suffix as there are 3 variants but no matter at this stage. Sounds like the digital timer is at fault but you need to check out the top oven firstly in case that is the source of the problem. A word of caution though, you need to be competent at electrical fault finding and with the correct tools and test equipment.
Power off before attempting inspection. :zap:

Hi the bit missed I think is /03.
The top oven appears to work as expected? I am a electrician with c&g 2391 test and inspection qualification so I should be fine. I don’t normally get involved with appliances but as it’s mine I feel I should:).November 3, 2013 at 9:31 pm #403887Drew148

Hi, finally got the oven out of its hole. The thermostat light had fallen of the display from inside but does still work, so that’s fine. All connections are fine so do you think it’s the digital display that would need replacing and if so could you point me in the right direction

Tough call Drew from this remote location TBH. Have you checked the insulation of the elements? The thermal overload? If all is fine yet the display is still dead then my only conclusion would be, as stated before, the timer display is at fault. Your call. 😉
