Oven won’t heat up

I’ve got a built in combination microwave, oven and grill from B&Q, model no MWC002 and the manual says it’s by Premium Appliance Brands.

The microwave function is working fine, but the convection oven isn’t working. It runs for how ever long I’ve set, but when it’s finished it shows “E -2” in the display and the oven is still cold.

Is this something that could be repaired/is worth repairing? I live in the Scottish Highlands and the nearest engineer is likely to be about an hour away.

Hi: To be honest, Unfortunately it’s probably going to cost more to get an Engineer to come all the way out to you & fix the appliance, than it would to replace it.

chances are its just the oven element but to add to your location problem premium appliance brands no longer exist

so even it you did manage to repair it this time you may hit problems in the future

if you do replace it stick to a national; brand where you know spares will be readily available
