    The CDA Single electric built-in oven/grill was switched off for a period of time at the mains. Since switching on the clock/timer display no longer works but the oven grill both work fine.

    The spare part timers are almost as expensive as a new oven. Any advice on what to check first?

    Nope, it’s almost certainly the clock itself.

    If all other functions are working ok, live with it would be my advice.
