Overclaiming

I have calmed down a bit now but “alfie” REALLY has upset me as he’s totally taking the p1ss.

He’s said that the motor fell off a 555, well we all know it’s gonna need a rear half and a seal. That’s it.

He phoned up and asked Nicola for a “drum”. A drum was duly sent and he calls back well p1ssed off as he wants all the tank assy, not a drum. So apparently we’re the stupid ones for not having a psychic connection and knowing exactly what he wanted.

But, for this one job he’s ordered up the following…

Drum
Rear half
Front half
Tank seal
Heater
Thermistor
Drum pulley
Motor

And that’s just the stuff we could find in ten minutes!

Basically I think the guy’s a complete t055er who either hasn’t got a clue and shouldn’t be allowed to repair or, he is deliberately trying to get the machine changed because he can’t be ar5ed to do the job. Basically, that’s it.

What he doesn’t know is that in cases like these we will have the machine retrieved and inspected. If I find that he’s lied to get it exchanged then it will be treated as fraud because, that’s what it is, pure and simple.

Then he has the gaul to complain about the labour rates!!

I mean FFS.

Thing is, I’m not the only one doing this now, checking up on what’s claimed against what’s fitted and whether it was required or not. So please be careful, I know we’ve (NWAR) been audited.

Okay, so I’m still hopping mad about it. 😉
