    ok, you asked, youll get your answer,
    the pcb you ordered is the right one, it just isnt programmed

    the spraying of the switch works rather well, i do it daily

    now you either pay for the right, programmed pcb, or you pay a hoover/candy engineer to programme the one you have

    the advice is here, you just didnt take it

    ok i did take the advice actually i did spray the switch and no it didnt work!!!!!!
    i ordered the pcb board as someone suggested but no one told me about programmes etc so i just ordered the same part number.
    i sent the part back after talking to someone at Candy and got the right part and fitted it.
    Now the machine is working fine.
    Bearing in mind im not a machine service man, im just a lady asking for some advice i thought i may have been dealt with in a slightly better manner.
