There has been a few occasions now were my posts have been “edited”, there is one post that has had a reply to my question but today i find the reply to my post has now been completely removed.
In my profile “occupation” i put for a laugh fighter pilot ( top gun ) and have found that also ( top gun ) has been removed.Now fair enough, if there is things that can be considered liable fair enough but please have the decency to let me know u have removed something that i have posted and the reason why.
So PLEASE, tell me who is following me around the forums and changing/removing things i post?

It just could be that when the server went belly up the other day the stuff that you mention was ‘lost’ rather than someone deleting it? 💡

No martin, the post that i submitted was answered almost instantly… so my post would of went also, the top gun comment was added when i first signed up and was removed a couple of weeks later ( long before the hardware failure problem ).
I just don’t know why my profile would be edited at all.

The Mod team will move threads if posted in the incorrect forums.
We occasionally edit bad language and remove offensive posts – if we do, you get a PM to make your hair curl. We edit to add “Lucky Goldstar” to any LG posts.
Very little is ever actually deliberately deleted except for spam.
We have no access to personal profiles.

To answer the original question, I certainly haven’t altered anything on that account and, generally don’t even look at anyone’s account unless there’s something offensive or potentially offensive displayed. Same goes for anything that would be considered as spam.
Beyond that I really don’t much care. 😉
As to posts being edited, yep that happens when we spot spelling and grammatical errors usually where what’s posted needs to be made clearer or make sense. Many of us, myself included, write as we would have a conversation and that sometimes gets a bit confused for people reading even though you knew exactly what you meant.
Posts are generally not deleted unless they appear to display the things mentioned in the first paragraph of this post. I can’t really think of any other reason that any of the mods would step in and I certainly wouldn’t.
