Firstly there are no exhaust vents under the door. If steam is escaping it doesn’t automatically mean the microwave energy is escaping…the microwaves actually need quite a large gap to escape 😀
The door is not replaceable as a single spare part but is available in seperate individual parts however i suspect the problem lies elsewhere…
The machine has an internal fan which should pipe the air through the cabinet, into the cavity and out through the vent at the rear.
If steam is escaping from the front then there is a problem with the ventilation…most likely the damper has stuck inside preventing the air from getting into the cavity, probably not a big job and well worth doing.
…and yes, the engineer should do a standard leak test with every repair whether to the door or not.
As to prices these will obviously vary up and down the country so find an engineer and just ask first 😉
