Hi there, can you advise me about a turntable problem I have with a Panasonic Microwave Oven Model No: NN-T543WF.

About 6months ago the turntable would not turn, an error message came up referring me to the manual.
After a bit of fiddling about to make sure that no wrong buttons had been pressed. eg The child lock, everything appeared to be ok.
I gave all the inside a good clean, turntable, roller-base and all around the bit in the middle that locks the turntable into place.
Nothing seemed amiss and the Turntable was working again until yesterday and it had stopped turning again.
I have followed the same procedure again but no joy this time.
Everything else appears to be ok.
The motor is working, so is the interior light and it will reheat cold water in a jug to boiling. (gave it 5mins on high power)
Any ideas what may be wrong and is it worth fixing.
Is it safe to use it without the turntable rotating, for defrosting, reheating and cooking etc.
    Regards

Mod edit. deleted duplicate post to avoid confusion.

most turntables are driven by a motor. these motors fail quite often so most of the time that’s all you need to change.
but you state the motor is working. Which motor and if it is the turntable motor how did you test it ?
