I have a Panasonic NNV629 microwave (Inverter) which has just stopped working. I have initially checked the main fuses on the PSU and found that one of the 10 amp fuses had blown.

I replaced this as a long shot but it blew again straight way.

I understand that common problems include the inverter or magnetron but am looking for some advice from someone who may be able to clarify a possible solution.

Mmm…… I know you’ve had a couple of repairs here already, but you really don’t want to get into this. The cooking circuit runs at 2.5Kva. I’ve been in this business for 21 years and the damn things still scare me to death.

    Get some pro help, please.

Appreciate your advice…. I am going to buy a new 1 for now until I get a chance to have an enginneer look at it.

Are there any clues in the symptoms I have given which will indicate if this is worth repairing or not?

Thanks for your help once more! 😀
