    Hi all,

We’re at the stage of selecting a new FF for our kitchen extension. We’ve been looking at the Bosch KAN62V41GB which seems to have good reviews and a Which? best buy. We’ve struggled to see one in the flesh, the nearest is the model with the dispenser (62V40) which we saw in John Lewis at the weekend. The only disappointment was the ‘steel look’ finish.

We also saw next to it the Panasonic NR-B53VW2 which is a leap in price of a few hundred quid as well having a water/ice dispenser which truth told the wife is more than against than for due to fears of reliability as well as eating up freezer space.

We’ve got loads of other Panasonic appliances, m/waves, cameras, TV’s etc and never had a problem with them but what are they like for fridge freezers ?

The message seems to be to steer clear of Samsung, but our budget won’t stretch to Neff/Siemens.

    Any advice appreciated.

Just check the price of water filters out. 😉

Other that that, so far as I can tell, they seem okay but parts hard to get and not cheap when you do get them.

I would buy a Daewoo…(I have seen Neff/siemens/bosch/ admiral and kuppersbush use the same cabinet on some of their models.. Daewoo very reliable too.

Thanks for the replies folks. I understand there are other filters available more cheaply, but is the quality questionable ?
