ParticipantHi!
Long time no speak, hope everyone is well!
Today, got to look (externally) at a Panasonic Washing machine, since when have Panasonic made washing machines?!
Anyway, the build quality really did seem quite good.
Not sure of reliability yet or performance but would be interested if you have any information regarding these?
There’s a link on the Comet website here: http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/produc … A-14VA1WGB

Causing a bit of a stir here as well as apparently the independents have been excluded from being able to buy them.
TBH though, if the support for them is as good as it is for microwaves etc. then it should be fun. 😉

I assume the main retailer/support desk is going to be Comet then?
Comet, i’d have thought will be doing their own repairs.
Had a look inside one yet, Ken?

Dunno. Dunno if there’ll be a Comet service department soon the way they’re shedding jobs ATM.
I am told that JTM are doing the service on them.
Not seen one in the flesh but it looks pretty straightforward.
Some silly claims as usual from the Far East, 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} savings, exclusive 3D wash… well how come it’s on our new ISE and others have been doing it for years then? That sort of malarky and I doubt that, as usual, half the claims will stand up to even moderate scrutiny. LG and Samsung are brilliant for it, they do make me laugh with some of the stuff they come out with.

It does look a nice piece of kit I must say. Has a brushless motor, angled drum with balance sensor. Smart looking too! I bet it doesn’t have a sealed drum?
