Hi matey yes had this fault before thinks its to do with ionization? needs the flame to complete the circuit and stop the ignition :rolls: adjusting the spark probe gap may help or a fault with the ignition probe? Found this but 2 technical for me 😯
The problem with most prior piezoelectric ignition systems, including that of Berlincourt, has been that ionization shorts out the series spark gaps when such gaps are located too close to the burner ports. Positioning the spark gaps far enough from the burner ports to prevent shorting out due to ionization often results in erratic ignition or no ignition at all. Moreover, most, if not all, conventional systems cannot be adapted for heavier as well as lighter than air gases and are usually limited to one such category. I could be totally wrong tho 😳

Probably just a faulty ignition unit matey…..The re-ignition part inside is not registering the heat! if that were to fail ht lead or igniter!
