can anyone enlighten me… in the last couple of year ive changed around 5 of these elements and on 3 occasions it still dont heat, changed turbidity sensor too…still no heat, always just 1 of the stats open circuit but element itself fine, anyone else changed this particular element and found its still not heating, ive checked the pcb’s each time looking for the obvious, getting frustrated as to wtf is happening when the stat on the element is going.

the stats on the elements as far as i know are an overheat protection. as with all stats they both wont trip at the same temp so you will always find only one has gone.
as for reasons, well, anything that means low water flow
blocked filters or bars, motor problems including mechanical and blocked impellor. faulty diverter valve etc

can easily source the manuals if you want a read but would need the pnc to find correct one
