Part p its started

hi all
Had a call today lady wants a ovn removing and a new one fitted
delivery guys said to her it must be done by a niceie enginer because of part p.
Rubbish 😡 this is so annoying
If anyone is interested about what we as electricians / service guys can do without being certified see http://www.niceic.org.uk/partp/notification.html
This shows that all the work we as service guys can do.
The only thing you cant do is install a complete new circuit or fit a mains box. ( and unfortunatly we cant do a spur in a kitchin or bathroom )
In bedfordshire the council want £165.00 + vat just to check any work you do. ie kitchin spur £80.00 + £200.00 to have it checked 👿
sorry to rant on but this could loose me 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my work.

Great post, very interesting. I will copy that URL and put something up in the public forums somehow, and some time soon to no doubt dispell any confusion that is rife at the moment. 😀
