Aren’t the good things in life worth waiting for though? To think of the sheer joy receiving the latest Partfinder disk will bring us all soon enough.:rolls:
Don’t forget Indesit’s slogan “INDESIT- We work, you play!” So they must be busy working on it, meanwhile we’ll just go out and play. 😉

GRR,
Tried again this morning, still won’t validate. all details are exactly the same. Could be a server fault at their end.
Phone line constantly engaged. 😥

Partfinder is no longer updated reguly as Service Net is the way forward for Indesit. Updates used to be done by the UK team this has now been taken over by Italy. First read of some of the translations of the service manuals can be how shall we say amusing!!

And they call it a ‘service’ division. :rolls:
The annoying thing is that as soon as you install it, it clears out the old files. If the installation cannot be validated the setup fails. However if you try to run the install again, even though it warns you that the new files are already on your system there is no way to go direct to validation, you have to install the whole darned thing again.
Finally got through to them on the phone just before lunchtime, gave them the long code from the top of the screen and was told that I had ‘used up my permitted number of registrations’, even though I have just received a new disc. 😥
Turns out that as I paid by credit card over the phone I have to contact the person I spoke to, one Amy Hodkinson and speak to her directly. Didn’t have time to do it right then so I have just tried again. Installed it on both my desktop & laptop and rang them to be told that Amy isn’t in work today…….. 😈

Isn’t technology wonderful when you can pay up front via the ether and fuff all happens when the goods hit your coconut matting. :rolls:
I’ve sent an envelope off to Peterborough stuffed full of Green Shield Stamps – what chance have I got now? 😕

I wonder if I am being deliberately ignored, perhaps someone has a down on UKWG’s members or maybe this is normal Indesit Company total lack of service policy.Tried again this morning, installed the whole sheebang on both PC’s rang and was told that Amy Hogkinson was busy but whoever I spoke to would send her an e-mail with my phone number and Amy would ring me back ASAP. Nearly an hour later, no call. I rang back to be told that Amy was now in a meeting. 👿
Tried again at 3.00pm. Rang and again the operative sent Amy an e-mail with my phone number. Waited until 4.00PM, no call so rang back again and yet another operator has again e-mailed the elusive Amy. It is now 5.10PM and I am still waiting. :rolls: 😈
The funny thing is, only 7 days ago the very same Amy rang me back within 10 minutes to get my credit card details to pay for the CD.
What a tin pot organisation. 😥

I have never had any problems in the past, had every single issue from FastTrak 1 onwards. This time I made out my cheque for more that the correct amount by mistake. That is why they phoned me in the first place and subsequently took a credit card number and cancelled the cheque.
I cannot for the life of me see why that should cause the problems it has. 😥
