ParticipantI’m fed up with paying £65.00 + VAT every six months for the new issue of Partfinder II. Does anyone know where i can buy it for less?

As far as I know there isn’t another source.
The last issue was released some time after the initial roll out at a reduced price though, presumably Merloni had excess stock, which should have taught them something you would think wouldn’t you ? 😉

I was searching for a part to fit a WMA12P on Partfinder today (like you do) when suddenly up popped……………
“THIS MANUAL IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND IMAGES WILL FOLLOW SHORTLY!.
……………..tell me I’m dreaming, but does “Technical information” mean what I think it means? Are Indesit at last going to impart something tangeable for us to work with on the next Partfinder up-date, TDS style format maybe?………..
……….nah! I guess I’m just dreaming 😕

I’m sure if you have an old computor that you dont use and load it onto it change the date on the computor and i think you will get it working again

KeymasterWe have been looking at it and I think there’s ways to do it, after all the spares supppliers have already done it in some cases. The problems are, how many people can we get onboard with it and which manufacturer will kick it of. 😕
I can tell you that this has been Dave and Martin’s pet project for a while now and I still haven’t had a reply from AGORA after 6 months of waiting on one.

This is probably a ‘thicky’ question but who or what is AGORA?
Also are these disks able to be copied?

AGORA is a hosting service for spares/technical info essentially.
http://www.agoraplus.com/default.asp?bh=1&l=GB if you want a read 🙂
It’s a chargeable service and only account holders with the manufacturers that use Agora can access the information, some manufacturers pay Agora on behalf of their account holders/agents like Brandt for instance and some charge for it.

The Partfinder disk I guess you mean? Well yes, it does copy very easily and in so doing I believe the time constant in the registry file is removed for extended usage (still working on that theory – it works on TDS 😉 )
However, each disk has to be registered either by phone or Internet for activation and that’s where they have the upper hand and can charge their funny money prices for it 🙁
