Parts for a Brandt hob

My first posting, since joining last week.
Have been to a Brandt Electric hob today, wire burn’t off neutral connection to element. Made a temporary repair for time being.

Anyone know where to obtain parts for this hob? A Brandt Model HFH25BIE2 serial 014300926 Its the front LH plate, ceramic 2300watts.
Need to give customer a quote.

Any help appreciated. 🙂

Welcome to the site Malc.

There are three shown on Agora (Brandt’s spares system) but they’re all listed as “200” on the diagram, then helpfully, there are no indications of which plate is which! No ratings or nothing at all.

Brandt, totally useless and I may well have a rant on the subject later as this is the second time in under a week I’ve seen this.

And, they’re all about the same price too, so no help there I’m afraid. Roughly £40odd-ish.

I had exactly the same last week with an Induction hob, all 5 temperature sensors had the same position number with no indication of which one was which 😕

Even the email address I was given for tech support was wrong so it took me another day to sort that out before I managed to get the correct part number.

Thanks to both of you for your help, cross fingers you will get a reply from the email you sent Dave.

It makes one thankful that other manufacturers (like Bosch) make information on parts freely available.

Do you remember when we used to have folders full of microfiche for Bosh/Neff/Siemens, still got the mini viewer in the van, haven’t used it for a long time 😆

Malc, I have the info for you now.

Part number is 79X6382 – £38.35 ex VAT trade price and in stock at brandt.

I threw my fiche viewer away earlier in the year after lugging it to the 2nd UKW meeting as Martin was gonna bring his and we were going to see if we could breed them but we forgot all about it :rotl:
