i have just started doing hotpoint/indesit appliances again after 15 years but am getting very mad as model numbers seem to be usless in getting the right part we used to have partfinder discs to look up part number but was advised by hotpoint they no longer supply i thought nowadays they had to supply the trade with info but the people i have spoken to at hotpoint dont want to know very helpfull not !!!!!

Anything other than heater or blockage, door seal I don’t bother.
Noisy spin, go and buy a new one but not Indesit, Hotpoint or Whirlpool.
I am old enough to remember when you could repair an Indesit wm and confidently leave the house and know that you had done a good job.
I think that puts me in the minority on here.

Contact Whirlpool parts here and ask for a trade cash account. You will gain access to the Whirlpool SMART system which gives free access to all the parts info by model and industrial code and likely a decent trade discount:

have never worried about price, they are what they are. You just have to pass it on

also with connect look up WOW discounts on ebay as its connect selling retail. A lot of the time cheaper than trade
