    I had a call this afternoon asking if I had a belt for a Hotpoint WM52. “Should do,” I replied, “but I will check”. Went through my sack of washer belts and found 2 for Hotpoints but one I had marked ‘WMA’ with biro. The other, Electruepart BLT078 listed the following models:
    1824/1, 1828/1, 1823/7 & 1848/1

    It turned out this was the correct one but the bag gave no mention that it also fits the 95000 series, the 9500 series, the 9900 series, the WM series, the WD series etc etc. 😯 . If I nearly dismissed it as the wrong belt, what chance does the customer have in an appliance spares shop with these bags hung up on a display?
