Pattern Cooker Themostats

I ordered a pattern stat from Qualtex Part No: QUAOT115 which is stated as being a Long Capillary Type. Trying to then fit this to a Creda Double oven the Capillary is too short to allow the themostat bulb to engaged into the retaining clips inside the cavity. Although Qualtex list a lot of stats none of the part descriptions give capillary lengths. The original stat for the model in question is obsolete hence the pattern requirement.

So does anyone have any idea who does a stat with enough length to fit a double oven, 250c and 300c for future reference.

I hasten to add that this problem seems only to be a issue when the main oven is at the bottom hence the extra length needed.
