    Help !! Please I just bought a new pcb board for model GC2224GEKB For maytag admiral fridge freezer and my code on fridge freezer is 28 but it won’t store this code..
    Any help greatly appreciated

    Try the default code of 05 if this does not work then 15.

    In most cases 05 works 28 would only work if you have the same jazz board number on the PCB.

    Compressor doesn’t seem to kick in with the codes 05 or 15 she advised by Bob

    have you left it long enough from what I have heard some compressors don’t cut in straight away and can take some time

    Unless you manage to store a code it will not run.

    If you have stored a code and the fans run but not the compressor then it may be a relay or compressor fault.

    If it does not make any noise at all and the codes are stored then it may be a faulty new PCB.

    Try opening the doors to see if you can here the compressor start.

    ive left it a couple of hours on code 05 and 13. The fans are running but nothing from compressor.
    Is it worth trying another new board or give it up as a loss.

    You need to get someone to check to see if you have voltage reaching the compressor.

    It may just be a relay on the compressor.

    If no voltage at the compressor then it may be a faulty new pcb.

    Try opening the doors to see if you can hear the compressor run or check to see if the compressor is Hot.

    I the compressor is hot then it is a compressor fault.
