ParticipantI have a Bosch SRS55L12GB/15 which is stopping on 1 minute on the display (or is this error code 1?). The pump continues to try and run while this happens. A little research indicates that this is usually due to a faulty heater relay on the PCB overheating and melting out the soldered connection. I took the board out yesterday to send it for testing and repair (a new PCB at £130 doesn’t seem sensible on an 11 year old machine), but there is no visible sign of overheating on the 3 relays, the board, or their connections.
Is it still likely to be a faulty relay, or should I be looking at other components given this symptom?February 7, 2015 at 1:46 pm #424483Martin

Could also be a flooded base tray? Faulty heater?

OK, so I should check for continuity at the heater terminals then. But what is the cause of a flooded base tray, and how do I check this please?

Yes.

An internal leak somewhere.

Close visual inspection.

Thanks. The other possible cause I have researched is a blocked pressure chamber?
Or does this error code narrow it down specifically to a heater fault?February 8, 2015 at 11:36 am #424487Martin

It is NOT an error code by the way. Enough of the questions, time for you to get hands on and check out. You have plenty to work with to get to the bottom of the problem I would suggest. Enjoy! 😀

Update: it was a fault on the PCB-the heater relay.
Got that repaired by QER and all now working fine. Thanks to all who gave advice. -
