    Hi,
I have just looked at a philco WD1209SEU washing M/C and as it throws up a few various problems, like its leaving the clothes soay / wet at the end of the wash and sometimes the wash can take far to long to finish – 3 hrs.
I have checked the drain pump and pressure system and both seem fine. I have metered out the elemnent also this again seems fine.
I have been told that the philco timers arent the best and this could be to blame.
    any ideas?

The timer won’t be an issue – the most likely culprit is the electronic board down at the bottom. This controls motor function and heat among other things. Check for burnt joints around relays and worn edge connectors. Given the age of the machine, it will be worth checking the drive motor carbon brush gear at the same time – they do wear out.

P/no for pcb is C00078554 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get one for you promptly if required.

    Power off before going in.
