ParticipantHi. I have checked the section you have already posted for Philco and the page can not be disapled 🙁
Does anyone know where I can obtain a user manual from or which numbers relate to which temperatures for washing?
Any advice gratefully received 😀
Many Thanks

You’ll be very unlikely to get a book for that one now.
Good general info here:

I know…looks quite old. Im just setting the dial to 1st (it has number from 1 – 14. Most of the clothers are not shrinking but some have.
Worth asking the question tho 😉
Thanks for getting back to me tho 😀

Does your machine have a separate temperature control, and are the programmes split into one, two or three groups?

Hi Penguin45. No seperate temp dial, just one dial with numbers 1 – 14 in numerical order going round clockwise with coloured dots by the numbers:
1-4 (orange)
5-7 (green), then a grey dot, no number
8-11 (lighter orange)
12 (green, with another grey dot marked STOP)
13 (green) followed by another grey dot
14 (green) then meets another grey dot before starting at 1 again. It looks like its split into groups by the grey dots although when put on 1 it always finsihes at the grey mark after 7 and not at stop as I expected ❗
Thanks very much.

Hi Karl
If I remember that machine correctly 1 to 4 are the cotton washes followed by the rinses and spin. A safe bet would be then that 1 is 90 degrees 4 is 40 degrees. 8 to 11 synthetics followed by rinses and the stop being auto rinse hold ( to stop creasing if you left the synthetics in thedrum after the wash. It holds the clothes in water until you advance the dial one notch for the spin)then spin.14 COULD then be a woolens wash.Hope this helps.

I think Tony’s pretty close, except 1 will be Prewash, followed by 2 90c. 3 will be 60c, 4 will be 40c.
Where’s Eastlmark when we want him? 😀
