    Hi there.

I have dusted off my Philips DTX 6371 Digibox after a few months of it being in store.

The problem I had initially was it wouldn’t pickup a signal (Red square in the corner and no picture) apart from that all seemed ok.

I went though the menus to scan for channels, soon after the channel scan screen came up it came up with “No channels found” seemingly not trying to find any channels.

Tried switching it off and on again and again, checked the signal quality but gave the symptoms of no coax plugged in. I tried my old Pace Twins which worked fine and proved there is a signal coming down the coax.

After doing a lot of googling I tried a few things but seemed to have made the matter worse – no menus but all other functions work fine (except no signal)

I read from a website, to bring back the menus, while the box is in standby with the display in the “Dim state” pressing the buttons with the left arrow and right arrow together until the display says “er”. Following this instruction only brings the box out of standby despite holding the buttons in for over a minute.

In summery, how do I get the menus back, Im suspecting a cold-reset would get the box working again, can someone give me instruction that works?

    Many thanks

This forum doesn’t cover Radio/TV products, go check a website that does or contact your local TV repair man…….
