    Belt seems in good condition…not loose. Washes OK but clothes are still pretty wet… Can hear speed increasing when speed control varied but never reaches a really fast spin, like it used to… Is this a control unit problem?

    Possibly a motor pcb problem if the filter is clear. Given that it’s at least a 120 years old and most components are obsolete, you may be onto a hiding to nothing with this one. The DC Poly motor hasn’t been used for a long time…..
