Hello there, I am looking to replace a plate in my Hotpoint 6610 microwave. The hotpoint information line says this part is obsolete (even though this microwave isn’t really that old).
These plates look they are a pretty standard item. Does anyone know where I could get one in the UK or (preferably) ireland?

It is definitely obsolete. As you say though, many turntable glass trays are the similar.
If you can supply three things I may be able to sort a replacement:
The diameter of the tray itself.
The diameter of the roller underneath it.
A photo of the drive coupling (that’s the hard part, getting a tray that matches the drive).
You can email me directly and I’ll see what I can do. And I can send to Eire no problem if I can match something.
