Did you get the motor running again?
Broken coil in element will cause half heat (double element). No heat at all will be the safety thermostat tripped out due to the motor stopping.
You will need:

and

hi thanks for your advice again the motor was always working i presume by motor you mean the motor that spins the drum? please correct me if you was talking about another motor?anyway the fan at the back spins great and the drum goes around ok its just the lack of heat thats the problem i got no problem replacing these parts if this will hopefully solve the problem would these parts be the only thing that would cause it not to dry? my concern is me getting both these parts and it still not working 🙁 anyway where can i find the thermostat? ive had the top off and found nothing resembling a thermostat would it be on the side near where i unclipped the heating element.? thanks again for a speedy response regards gavin

the thermostats are just above the heater elements, hidden underneath.

Or even on top, in full view when you pull the heater out……
