Please help Baumatic BDW Intergrated Dishwasher

Hi,

I have a baumatic, integrated dishwasher BDW13 (I think) that has an error code of E3. It runs fine, pumps and starts and runs its cycle, then beeps loudly for a long time, indicated on the LED display is an E3 error, and the dishes etc. appear to still be mucky, and the temperature feels cold. The tablet sometimes melts, and sometimes doesn’t. I have cleaned it through, and added the salt and rinse aid, as requested. It happened 3 days ago, by turning power off, it solves the problem, until I do another cycle, then the same thing happened!

Can anyone help?

Hmm, Chinese dishwasher. E3 should be no drain, but that doesn’t fit the facts, does it? I suppose the water level control could be at fault – blocked or jammed on full might give the same code.

Hateful things – a copy of a poor Indesit design. Spares availabilty is appalling – fixing this fault will not improve it’s reliabilty one iota.

Personal preference would be to bin it and buy something decent.

Alternately, get Baumatic to it – you’ll only have to pay them once, however long it takes them to fix it. If they can.
