    Hi all 😀

I joined to see if anyone can please help. Our fridge has stopped working and with Christmas coming we can’t really afford one just yet so any help would be great 🙂

    Right it’s a BEKO CFD5834APW.

The freezer is working fine but the fridge is not working at all apart from the light. I’ve turned it off for a few hrs and cleaned the drainage pipe and everything else i could clean. The fan in the freezer is working and it sounds like it always has. It’s about 4 years old.

Could it be the pcb? I Don’t want to waste on it if it’s not the problem

Hopefully one of you guys can help us as the kids presents are on the menu. 😥

Turning it off for a few hours may be not enough.

Turn it off for a minimum of 24 hours with the doors open.

If it is running it will not be a pcb problem if it does not cool down after a Full defrost then it will most likely bea gas or compressor fault.
