    Please help

    I have Hotpoint double oven UY46X

    top oven is fine

    bottom oven was on and BANG all electric went turned it back on

    oven light works , no heat , nofan

    can anybody help please

    It sounds like the fan element failed during use and has taken something with it at the same time.

    Odd that the light should come on though, the fan was running OK previously I take it ?

    yes , oven fan was fine b4

    just lights up now ?

    It still sounds like an element failure as that is the most common fault with any fan oven, and it’s probably damaged the selector switch and/or a safety thermostat.

    I think it’s engineer time to be honest, check Repairs@ for one 🙂
