ParticipantDear all,
I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me understand what this code means. Unfortunately, I do not understand if the lights flashing are 1, 2 ,3 or 4, as this model has 4 vertical lights (delay timer) and 4 horizontal lights. On mine 6 lights are flashing very quickly: all horizontal lights + the forth (bottom) vertical light (9 hour delay) + the door lock light…
Indesit quoted me £90+ for the visit, but I can’t really afford it at the moment so would be very grateful for any advice.
Many thanks in advance,

All four horizontal lights flashing suggests a problem with the pcb supplying power to the dryer section. This is inevitably a problem with the computer board.
No cheap fix, I’m afraid.

Thank you so much for a quick response. That’s bad news though… Will at least try to find a cheap engineer.
Many thanks again.

I had the same with a Indes***t WIDL 126S EX washing machine. I changed from the PCB the big polarized condenser (22u/400V i guess) which is part of the power supply, and the flashing is gone. The other problem is that i didn’t put it up on the washing machine so I do not know how it act. I just verified it with a front panel which I had in the house.

I come back with a compet solution ! The big capacitor (22u/400V) and the EPPROM replaced ! It works great now !

Participanti THINK id be ignoring the last 3 posts .. none of it made any sense and wasnt helpful.. as engineers we always advise a safe repair.. yes, it is possible to repair the pcb to component level, if you feel confident enough, and want to do that its fine, but we advise a good, safe piece of advice to help you work safely!
anyway, good luck

ParticipantToday I had to fix a WIXL 106 EU. The problem was the same. I made the same change in capacitor without changing eeprom and the wm works great.

Off topic- I know what engineers advise, I am one, but unfortunately I am a engineer in a different country than yours. -
