Please help!!!! Samsung side by side fridge/freezer

We have a samsung side by side fridge/freezer RS21KGNS
Serial number 854342BX200046V

We’ve been experiencing problems with the fridge temp rising too high over the past few weeks and after reading posts on here have replaced the thermal fuse, sensor and back cover with the new metal clip design.

Unfortunately 3 days later the fridge is at 7 degrees and rising and after removing the back cover nothing has changed, everything is covered in ice just as it had been before 🙁

There’s no fault code being displayed, whereas when we first checked before replacing the parts we had code 7.

We don’t know what to do now, the stress of constantly have to take it all apart, defrost the heater etc every 3-4 days is becoming too much now.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

If you have replaced the sensor and thermal fuse then the defrost heater will be the fault.

is that just the heater part not the whole thing, on the store here there is http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Refriger … eater.html

but on ebay I can pick up just the heater part for much less, do I need to replace the foil tray at the bottom?

Pinklady,

The heater and evaportator come as a complete item together with the thermal fuse and sensor. Just make sure that the one on ebay is correct for your model as the later model RSA RSH came as seperate items.
