Hardly “police state” more a “we see where this is going and it isn’t pretty” I expect.
I didn’t lock the thread and probably wouldn’t until it got out of order but I can understand why someone may think it a good idea.

Your website, your rules. But it is a shame that such restrictions are applied with such a draconian excess all the same. Waving the big stick resolves little IMHO.

Martin, try having a pop at who locked the thread, it wasn’t me as I clearly stated.
And, when threads aren’t locked and rumble on like the 0800 one as a prime example, we get berated for not locking them.
Can’t win as there’s always someone that’s nose is put out of joint as yours appears to be here for some reason.
