    Re: POND PUMP

In recent months as the whitegoods trade generally has slowed to a bit of a crawl in all parts of the UK.

Many guys have been expanding their horizons to prop up their resources by diversifying into doing a bit of plumbing work. Whilst some have taken to house wiring and even one enterprising chap is going to do a bit of tree surgery! 😯

But, until I read this thread. I never realised that fitting and servicing garden pond pumps was such a popular part of our trade. 😕

Connect have never been slow in catching on to new trends, and so it’s just possible that in their next glossy catalogue that falls through my letterbox, I might see a range of pumps, filtration systems, water conditioners, Koi Carp service manuals and perhaps a full selection of wellies and waders?

These waste water pumps from Machinemart are ok but use too much power.
Better to splash out some serious dosh on a purpose built pond pump which will pay back the investment by lowering your leccy bill. 8)
