Leibherr 0974398 -02
KES3660Hi – wonder whether you can assist with the following problem recently experienced with my beloved Leibherr fridge – serial and model number as above.
Before moving house it worked, it was stored upright (not turned on) for 8 weeks, transported upright and the only time it was horizontal was when it was moved from the van into the house (short distance), it was then turned on after 24 hours and worked for a very limited time, now it doesn’t, but the light comes on, then the fan works and when you open the door the compressor comes on, but the compressor doesn’t come on when the door is closed. It appears to be a room temperature.
Is it worth repairing or is it totally useless? Any help gratefulRe: Poorly LEIBHERR KES3660 Fridge
The compresor is the black dome device at the rear of the fridge.
It isn’t wired through the door switch but direct from thermostat so surprised if it is in anyway affected by door opening.If it is a mechanical thermostat as opposed to a pcb control they are sometimes prone to failure after a move.
You could check the thermostat for continuity although you need a meter and some reasonble ability to do it safely.
