Power fault on Zanussi DE6854

Hi

My Zanussi dishwasher will no longer switch on. The power led does not light when I press the yellow power button and theres no other signs of life. I have checked the fuse and plug socket and all is ok. I have removed control panel cover and checked for any obvious visible fault with the on/off switch but all looks ok and it sounds and feels the same when pressing. Is there anything else i can check and would it be worth me trying a new on/off switch? if so where can i get a new switch for this model?

Before spending your money, you need to test the switch – you need a test meter and the skill to use it safely. Guessing can be a very expensive way to repair a machine.

If you’re not sure, check repairs@ or Directories for a UKW repairer in your area.

Power off if you continue to investigate.
